  1. horsepower chip Intake system
  2. just think of it it as a 4 door mustang and buy the performance part for it intake, chip shift kit cam lots of stuff can be done with it have fun
  3. Cold Air/Ram Air Intake System Flowmaster Muffler Turbocharger Nos Breather Filter And just basicly buy new parts for your old parts.
  4. Here's my take of the situation: Some or a lot of horsepower has deteriorated with time. Just by doing a super, duper tune-up will restore some of that lost power. This includes things like spark plugs, spark plug wires, rotor and distributor if it has those, oxygen sensor, PVC valve, etc. Changing the muffler to one with less restrictions will make it seem more powerful simply by having a throatier sound. Also putting in a low restriction intake system with a 'K&N' filter adds power and sound for not too much moo-la. Switching to a synthetic oil will reduce internal friction, thus freeing up horsepower. Putting smaller outside diameter tires is the same as changing the gears in the differential for quicker acceleration, but it will make the speedometer read higher than the car is actually moving, get worse gas mileage, and give a harsher ride. Changing the springs to lower the car will keep some wind from getting under the car and help cornering (looks COOL, too). Not good for dips in driveways. That's it for now. Good luck, and keep all the old parts in case he goes ballistic!
