Torque and Chrome

Show Cars and Car Maintinance?

Ok I got a '03 Jeep Liberty.... I clean it regulary just like a normal person. My job though is to convert it to a show car. Yeah a 03 Jeep.... I just recently got it painted pearl silver (white flakes) and got real chrome on door handles and 21 Custom Lowen rims. The interior has not been done yet but I already have ideas..... now for the question. According to a good source, he says that they check every inch of the car for dirt/grime. I clean the normal places like engine, inside door (betweeen inside and outside) underchasy. YOU NAME IT! If you was "OCD" where would you look? This is my first show and I want to make a good impact. Plz help? Also I got funds for a new engine swap.... any ideas?

  1. Hemi
  2. Thank god you picked a liberty. Sorry had to say it. Best color for a jeep? Mud brown.
  3. I would look on and around any part of the frame and suspension, alot of crap sits there. Also check up and around the inside of the wheel lips. Just take a hose and point it up under and spray from the center around to each side. You may want to spray the back side of the bumpers, the wheels throw road grime up in there. Good luck with the project
  4. why didn't you just get an GM or Ford SUV to show off? Jeeps aren't cheap toys to slap chrome on, they're meant to be rock crawled. :( what a watse of a good 4x4 Jeep...
