  1. Mothers Chrome Polish, or Meguiars...both work great when used correctly!
  2. Silvo
  3. colgate toothpaste.
  4. solvo autosol is harsh and will rub through the chrome in no time, use duraglit
  5. GO Tad he got it none better either or both it will shine like your avatar pic -need it polished??
  6. FLITZ, is the best polish for all metals.
  7. Rub an onion on it
  8. Never Dull .... I love that stuff.
  9. you can use oven cleaner, just the cheap stuff tho, thats what i use on my stainless steel backbox on my astra gsi brings it up lovely and when your parking it up for the winter just spray some duck oil or wd40 over the chrome bits then when you come to use it its just a quick wash of and a quick polish
  10. Finish Restorer from S100. I've got a cruiser and using S100 cut the cleaning time in half. It gives a fantastic shine, too!!
  11. Autosol is about as good as it gets, there's no substitute for hard work I'm afraid. Try a Dremel (other hand-drills are available!) with a polishing mop on it.
  12. Use Belgom, takes a while to put on and polish off first time, but it leaves a film on your chrome so you only need to flick a duster over it for months after unless you get seriously sh******* up. Its pricey but worth every penny.
  13. mothers, It's what I use exclusively now.
  14. Autosol is one of the best chrome polishes you can buy. Costs about £5 plus a bit of elbow grease.
