Torque and Chrome

why do so many people?

Have those 22" chrome wheels on their suvs and trucks? Do they improve handling or something? Or are they there just for looks?

  1. Many people want to be lemmings and waste money on stupid car accessories.
  2. It's called bling bling. It's all about looks. It actually makes cars handle poorly. More wheel translates to less tire and road contact. Also the lateral stress on the hub can chew up bearings in record speed.
  3. They think it looks good , but they are wrong .
  4. They are just for looks. They do not imporve the performance at all, they make it worse. 17-19 inch Aluminum, Magnesuim, Steel, or Carbon Fiber wheels are the best wheels to use for performance. Chrome is the worst and was just invented for looks.
  5. They are just for looks, I hate the way they look personally, especially on an exotic, I saw an Aston Martin, of all cars, with chrome rims. It was awful, it took away from the car. The ride gets worse with larger tires.
  6. idk jack bout cars (i can name any car, truck, suv by the look alone,) besides that, i know nothing, but i thinks its for looks, and i think it the ugliest in thing ever!!!
