Torque and Chrome

What do you think the cost should be for?

1996 Black Z3 1.9, 50,000 - flawless, garage kept, summer only - winter stored, supercharged, aluminum pistons set at 9:1 compression, Hi lift/Short duration cams, cat back, ducted cold air thru fog lite, hood locks, spoiler, cold hardened disk brakes, steel brake lines, hi performance Kevlar brake pads, MRoadster chrome interior, burl wood, lowered w/ adjustable caster/camber, heavy duty sways, bilsteins, 19" black chrome wheels, air splitters, about 250 Horsepower, 230 pounds torque. Looks like over $20,000 in upgrades done at 36000 miles - not including labor costs.

  5. not a lot... Any modifications to a vehicle is not an investment. In many cases it loses value. But you placed a supercharger and the exterior aerodynamics so maybe you can raise the price with about 2000 dollars over the average prices of the cars. Owners like to THINK that they will invest in the vehicle by doing all those things but the truth is, it doesn't change the value by a lot. They always ask unreal prices but sometimes it works if they catch the eye of the inexperienced. I would say a good price should be between 12000-14000. I wouln't pay more for a z3 with the 1.9 engine.
