Is there a way to get black paint off of painted wheels?

The car that I bought a while ago has the wheels painted black. I really want them to just be normal silver (not chrome) wheels. Is there a way to get the paint off or do the wheels have to be painted the silver color? I don't want them to look like cheap silver plastic, but instead what is called "crystal silver" on the ATS website.

1. Again? Seems to me I answered a similar question yesterday! Oh! Well! In order to remove the paint, you're going to have to unbolt the wheels, remove the tires and valve stems and bring them somewhere there's a bead or sand blaster. After the paint is removed, you'll have to either repaint them chrome them or otherwise protect the bare steel as it will rust really quickly. Good luck!
