Are chrome rims on cars childish ?

My friend said that I shouldn't get rims on my magnum because rims are childish and dodge magnums are for young people that aren't grown up yet what is your opinion? Also we are both 18 and out of highschool

1. That not childish if that what you like then thats your choice. Rims show luxury not age. I am 22 and i have rims on my monte carlo i get compliments everyday. But like i said do it because you choose to and you want your car to represent you.
2. Rims are rims, some are cool and others are ugly, Tell your friend to piss off and buy what you want, he's not paying for it! But chrome is very heavy, look into some aluminum alloys first
3. While I personally don't care for chrome wheels I don't consider them as childish. Many people do cars shows with chrome wheels and win money/prizes. I myself have gold painted wheels (aluminum). If you like chrome get chrome it never matters what someone else thinks just what you think.
4. Dodge Magnums are not necessarily for young people...I love them and I haven't been a young person for many decades. Personally I think spinners would be the coolest for the Magnum...but definately go with chrome rims if you don't want to do flashy covers....have fun...its going to be your car. Sounds like your friend is jealous.
5. A car and its detail is a highly individual choice.Tell him if he would like to buy you a new car, you will value his input. Otherwise, your an adult now and if its your money, you have the right to choose what you like and wear your individuality confidently.
