Torque and Chrome

Would a 2005 Civic LX look wierd with 18" rims and other customization, but no body kit??

I've bought a 2005 Honda Civic LX I want to add 18" chrome Diablo rims, underbody neon, tinted windows, a new exhaust, sound system, a new paint job, and possibly more. I don't know if I want to add a body kit, though. It will be pretty expensive for the parts and labor/installation and a lot of the roads where I live have huge potholes and a lot of construction debris, so I think I might screw the body kit up pretty quickly. Do you think it would look weird if I got all the other stuff done but it didn't have a body kit. Also, would it look better if I lowered the car a couple of inches?? Thanks :)

1. Put the money towards performance parts and not looks, putting 18's, neons and a body kit won't make you look cool, especially since it's an LX, not an EX/Si. Use the money towards some headers, exhaust, intake..etc instead. Or an upgraded motor if you can afford it.
