How can I find out what the bolt pattern on my rims is?

I have a set of 18" chrome rims that I am trying to sell but don't know what the bolt pattern on them is.

1. Measure the distance between the centre of two bolt holes. Place that measurement in you add as well as the diameter of the pilot hole.
2. I think that just actually means exactly what it sounds like. If you are sitting on the curb right in front of tire { not in front of the whole car }, and look at the bolts holding it on the rim is there two on top and two on bottom, or is it kinda star shaped, or .... I don't know how many choices there or if they have fancy names but that's what bolt pattern is. Sorry , I'm just a woman, that's really not my department. If you don't want to feel stupid when talking to potential buyer memorize or draw what yours look like then go to Advanced Auto or something and see if they have same kind and might say what it is or you can ask the helpful and friendly { usually } people who work there.That's what they do !! 3. The easiest way to find out is to go to a website like www.discounttiredirect.com and follow the instructions for buying a set of rims for your car. Select from their menus and when they determine what rims will fit your car, use their measurements. That is the easiest way. You'll need to be sure of your vehicle information when you do this. Cars are usually 4 or 5 lug and then there is the spacing between the lugs, it's usually something like, 100/114/114.5, numbers like that. Good Luck!
