What is the best and most secure way to install center caps on chrome wheels?

Have lost 3 center caps within the last year. Have ordered a brand new set and do not want to lose any more.

1. get a tube of the rite stuff gasket sealer it comes in black or gray availible at carquest or autozone glue it on with that it wont fall off again (clean glue contact spots well )
