Winter Rim Protector?

Is there anything i could put on my chrome 22 inch rims in the winter so that the salt wont eat at the chrome? like a protector.

  1. A good wax will help but I guarantee you'll be in the ditch more than on the highway with that setup when the roads get slick.
  2. Spray with PAM cooking spray. Makes it easier to clean too.
  3. i suggest buying a new set of cheap rims, and get your snow tires mounted on them, that way when summer rolls around you just switch out your winter wheels witht the summer ones.
  4. set of cheap stock rims with deecent winter tires is the best solution, if you wanna drive those slicks then get cosmoline, a wachs like steel preservitive, would be #2 but not easy to come back off #3 buy an old rustbucket with frontweel drive and put the slick in the shop
