Torque and Chrome

what should i do about rims?

i have an 06 black gmc sierra and i was looking to put black 22's. the black 22's new would cost $1600 with tires included. My friend yesterday said he had some chrome 22" sessna rims and will sell them rims and tires for $1300. He said the rims and tires are like new. rims have no scratches or anything and only 2000 miles on the tires. so wut should i do??? go with the chrome or go black on black??

  1. black on black looks the best especially on the 06 truck!!
  2. personally black on black, but chromes look nice too.
  3. Go with the black set. Chrome is played out IMO. Black on black is always a nice and mean look. Trust me you will like black on black better than black on chrome.
  4. chrome rims should look better with black body of the car.
  5. Go black on black. Something could be wrong with the chrome 22's. Im always leary of why someone would sell something that new. Some 22's are know to bend easy and you cant tell until you try to balance the suckers and sometimes that wont even tell ya its bent until you drive down the freeway at 70. I had a bent rim on my Ram and it really sucked until i replaced it. 300 clams aint allot of difference from used to new.
  6. If you want to save some money offer him $800 to a $1000 for his old ones or just go buy the new ones you really want. You really don't know how many miles he has on those tires. You'll have a warranty on the new stuff. His stuff is worth maybe half of what he paid for it. Good Luck
