20 or 22 inch rims on 2004 impala ls?
Im sitting on some 20's right now with 245 35 20 nitto tires, ive seen some people have 22's on 2004 impalas but never saw a definate answer, what modifications would i need to do to put 22's and will it affect the driving that much between the 2 sizes. Any suggestions or should i just stick with 20's. Im using black rims with chrome lip on a black impala.

- neither it will mess up your suspension
- why do people wanna put expensive rims on older cars? Why not just use the money and buy a new car?
- Sounds like you've got beautiful rims right now. I'd say stich with the 20's.
- the impala's more then likely the 20;s just maybe a bigger tire.
- Unless you are going to replace the axle you aren't going to stick 22 inch rims on an Impala. I am not sure how 20 inch rims even fit. Curious... why? Do you have a picture... I am having a hard time picturing an Impala with SUV wheels.
- stick with the 20 it nice
- stick with the 20's going bigger will just give you a less comfortable ride...
- The lady that thinks a 04 car is old must be rich.If u got the $ go 4 it.Like Paul Wall says"tippin sideways"... U might have to raise it a little bit.
- i have 20 in on my 03 impala rite now and yes 22 will fit because i jus ordered some, jus get the smallest tires for 22s. They will look great. and if you dont believe 22 will fit please go to www.cardomain.com and look up impalas you will see several impalas with 22 and there is even an impala with 24s on it but he had to pay 1500 to get it lifted. 22 is the way to go and you will be lookin nice....
- Why dont you sell the Impala, use the proceeds from that and the $$ you were going to spend on the rims and buy a better car. An Impala on 20's or 22's is still an Impala...
