Is it true that Chrome wheels way your car down?

I have my r33, and its got its stock standard wheels on it, and im thinkin, should i buy chromes, or should i buy like those white or black wheels (kind of like alloys). Becuz people tell me its harder to turn with chromes or something? get back to me and tell me what wheels you rekon would match its a silver r33.

3. Whatever a r33 is. The answer is yes if you put ridiculous wheels on . If your vehicle came with 13 14 15 or 16 inch wheels there is no sane reason to put 20 inch or bigger wheels on it.. The car was not designed to run them and all it will do is ruin the way your vehicle ride and drives.

5. Normally chrome wheels are built with lighter materials and then chromed for the shine. There are some chrome wheels that are made with standard steel and then chromed, which would then make them heavier than your stock rims. There are other alloy rim types to chose from, and even painted rims for added flair, depending on your taste. Be VERY careful in changing the rim and wheel size in your vehicle. Even a one inch rim increase can affect how your vehicle handles and turns. Take your car to a tire specialist that also sells rims inhouse, and talk with them. Before buying the rims, talk with the dealership and find out from the service department about if certain rim sizes will void warrenties, and affect handling. Then chose carefully on what you want to do. Good luck
