nothing looks better than black and chrome....what color does everyone thing i should paint my brake calipers?
i have a 1996 mustang cobra, my whole car is black, the headlights are clear for that chrome affect, i have chrome bullitt rims(deep dish in the back), the taillights are the only thing that is not chrome-like(stock red...which im leaving as is)....i was thinking of painting the calipers black as well. but somewhat undecided. i think chrome-like paint would be too chromey and i was also thinking red, but not sure it would look good with what i got going...i know it whatever i'd like, but curious about others opinions

- Try something that will contrast....like RED.....that is what most sport cars do....like the Z06 and the Porches
- if you wanna paint it red..you should put something red in the car exterior as well like flames (if thats your thing) so as not to make those calipers standout too much. i have a black, lowered 1999 toyota corona ..my rims are gun metal so i painted my brakes black so as not to steal the attention on my rims. cheers!
- My husband has a blue vehicle, chrome rims, & painted his calipers red last year.
- red, yellow, or "ford" oval blue or maybe a bright orange.
- Yellow or red. They both go with black and chrome. Black won't stand out enough. Yellow would look best as long as nothing else on the car is yellow and you use a really bright Ferrari/Vette yellow.
- Yellow with black diagonal stripes .......no seriously......red sounds like a great choice... bold and aggresive..... and would look good with a black car. I'm jealous...sounds like one sweet ride...you have good taste.
- red no dought
- RED looks good
