Torque and Chrome

should get black rims instead of the chrome?

So here is a picture of my car (a 2003 mitsubishi diamante vr-x) http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y20/celestial18/car.jpg And i'm trying to decide on black rims or chrome for this summer. I think the black will pop more, But i like that way the chrome ones in the pic look. What do you think? EDIT: I'm not to worried about money because the car has sponsorships. oh my sponsors let me do really what ever i want to the car just as long as i let them drive it once in a while lol. But i am leaning towards chrome, i love shiny things and really like how durable it is (kara, chrome is a lot stronger then you think).

  1. I say save your money for a better car/eventual repairs. I don't like those rims either. The spokes are too thick.
  2. it depends on how much u'll b using the car becuz chrome scratches easily but chrome does look better on it..
  3. I say black
  4. We are a " car " family. I drive a Red Corvette. We have 2 race cars and a hotrod in our family. Our race cars have chrome wheels, so does the hotrod. Most show cars have chrome wheels. I personally prefer chrome wheels on all vehicles. I know the black rims are in style now. A neighbor of ours had a black SUV with black windows and black rims. It was just too black. I like black vehicles, I have had 2 black corvettes in the past and a black truck. But... Chrome shines and stands out. I would always go for the chrome. You can do too much chrome too and then it doesn't look good either. You know, this is just my opinion. Do what you like best and be proud to drive your car. If your car has sponsorships, maybe the sponsor has a say in what you put on the car? Might want to check into that also.
