I'm thinking of getting my wheels chrome plated.

- I have a Pontiac Grand AM GT it has a sunroof and chrome wheels, they look great, on a white car. However, be prepared , I find that to have them look their best, with a showroom shine, the wheels need to be kept very clean and polished looking. Enjoy yours. They will look great
- umm well i have a silver TL type S...and one of my friends also has one (yes i know...but my mom owns a body shop so im getting mine painted haha) but he got chromies on his car, i like them, but only if you have tints..and they are a good choice of rims!!!! i hate the bulky rims, if your chrome plating your stock ones hell yes!
- Sure they would
- It depends on the car and the wheel design. I usually don't like chrome wheels unless its on a luxury vehicle. An Acura TL would qualify as luxury for me, so I think it would look alright. But as long as you like it, that's all that matters
- It depends entirely on the style of rims and the type of car. Some cars look amazing with chrome rims, others look like garbage. Generally though chrome rims look good on white cars.
- Well it really depends on what car your using it on. Your TL-S would probably look good on chrome. But for me, i prefer white cars with black rims. And anyother car with chrome. So green, red, white and all those i go with black or anyother etc.
- I personally think that chrome wheels don't look good on any car, unless they're factory made, in which case they are made to fit the specific car.
- Chrome is nie, but very flashy. Sportscars like the TL do better with nice 18"-19" alloys. But to answer you, they do look good on white cars.
- I too own an 06 TL in diamond white. As far as how they would look. If they were the stock wheels which can be "chromed" by wheel customizing sites on the Internet I think they would look great. As far as "after market" wheels I just don't think they would look appealing. I can tell you from my experiences with the car I wouldn't recommend doing anymore to the wheels. Low profile rims like on the TL take a real pounding when you scrape a curb or hit a pothole.
- no.........
- Yeah they do check out http://www.cardomain.com/
