Torque and Chrome

Would polished chrome, black chrome, or painted black rims look best?

I have a 2005 Mazda 6. It's a dark grey color. I'm trying to figure out what rims would look best on my car. My windows are tinted, but not too dark. Would these look good? http://www.americanracing.com/browse_dale.asp The painted/machined one. Not the chrome one.

  1. My opinion: I have never understood why someone would want to put black rims with black tires on a car.... it just looks terrible... you need a rim that is a different color than the tire to break up the monotony otherwise it's just way too boring. I always go with chrome, if you take care of the rims and keep the clean everytime you wash the car the chrome will last a long time. (if you dry them to avoid spots they look even better) go chrome....
  2. I would have to say chrome considering you have a dark gray car. However, it is your car and your decision...if it looks good to you go for it. If you do decide to go with black I would suggest a black rim with a chrome lip to break it up a bit. Good luck!
  3. black. chrome on imports look weird for some reason.
  4. Hey listen, go to sears, I got some way kewl wheels called Moto Metal that are black and chrome, they look awsome on my 3/4 ton 4x4. They also have some gray and chrome mags there for $300. that look fantastic, go check'em out!
