Torque and Chrome

Can I put 18 inch chrome wheels on a 95 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme?

If not, what size rims can I get and what else do I need to get some? As far as extras? Also, where can I find some nice chrome wheels for cheap as a set?

  1. It'd be super-classy if you did. Nice touch to an in general old-person's car! lol. You have to love Oldsmobile's, though. Right?
  2. yes but u have 2 know how to do it
  3. Technically, you can do anything you want. All you need is willpower and money.
  4. yes, you can waste the money if you want to. The wheels will be worth more than the car.
  5. I'm not expert, but I'm sure you can. I've seen 21 or 22 inch rims on some cars like that! Not my style, but oh well, whatevah floats ya boat..hehe Might check for rims at flea markets if you can, or look in the papers.
  6. yeah you can roll ten eights on the olds try to find a wheel tire calculator on line to match up the size you currently have to find the max you can have you could probably roll dubs with some 225/30-20s with no problem if you wanted
  7. I imagine it can be done .. provided you have clearance for the tires after as it will be higher .Also you may have to change a gearing in your speedo because of the difference . I may be wrong and maybe thats a question some one else can answer but I would check into it ....
  8. Yep it can be done, it will be better if you can get the rims with a super low profile tyre so that it has the same rolling diameter as your original wheels, then you wouldn't need to check for clearance or have your arches re-shaped.
