Chrome wheels on Tahoe?

Hello, Im currently deployed and I have a '99 Tahoe sit'n in storage awaiting my arrival back on American soil. Im thinking about putting a set of the 15" American Racing wheels(Ventura) on her when I get back, along with a few other minor "upgrades". Now my qstn is, will they stick out the side of the wheel well or can I get em to where they sit flush. I really like the way them rims look on the old box chevy suv's, My wife thinks I should get rid of the truck altogether with the current mileage(220,000), but she purrs like a kitten from the meticulous maintenance I've placed on her for the last 10 yrs and its PAID FOR. Soooo, am I waisting my money by giving her upgrades, or shall I go along with what "she" says, lol; thnx ... :-)

1. You need to go by how you really feel about your tahoe.Upgrades on something given a lot of TLC is a really good thing.You have taken good care and done all the maintenance there should be no real reason not to do what make you happy.Best of luck.
