Crankcase breather filter as air filter?

I am working on a 175 cc motorcycle which is missing its air filters, which mount directly to the carb, and was wondering if there would be anything wrong with using crankcase filters used typically for a truck or car? the stock filters are hard to come by, and normal air filters are not made small enough typically. 1. My guess is you need to check the number of microns the crankcase filter will filter. I doubt it will filter as well as what an air filter does. It simply is not designed to do that.
2. JUST DO IT YOURSELF,,,,,,a house air con filter would work the same,,it"s cheaper
3. No problem, just improvise.
