How much is my motorcycle worth?

I have a 1996 Honda Shadow 1100cc C with 26k miles, custom seat, custom handlebars, chrome package, saddlebags, windshield, mint condition, well maintained, always garaged motorcycle. I checked the KBB and for the year and model it says $2300. But with all the customs, low mileage and condition, what would you expect to pay for this bike? Thanks for all of your help guys!

1. That's actually pretty high mileage in most people's eyes when it comes to motorcycles. The custom stuff doesn't add anything to the value, but that fact that it's well maintained and in great condition will go a long way. I see them selling on ebay for between $2,000 and $3,000. In this rare case, I think KBB is probably pretty close on this one. I would ask $3,000 and if you don't get any calls drop it in $250 increments until it starts to get noticed. That's a nice bike. My friend has had one since it was new and it has been totally reliable. I have ridden it many times. Good luck with your sale.
2. I think it's close to a fair price. All the extra stuff doesn't add to the value. It's a 15 year old bike, so keep that in mind. Consider pricing the bike fairly and then throwing in the removables (bags, windshield, etc) to sweeten the deal and bring it in.
