Torque and Chrome

Where can I get my Craftsman torque wrench calibrated?

I live in Florida. I just want to make sure it's still within specs.

  1. I would think Sears could help you. If nothing else, exchange it for a new one. ^
  2. craftsman is sears
  3. Why don't you ask the makers, I cant understand why don't you buy another, if thats not an option, borrow one and set the torque on both the same and tighten a bolt and count the turns till it activates, now try the Craftsman one and see it it is the same as the other.
  4. You will have to take another wrench of proper specs, then tighten a bolt down to a specific number. Then see how much torque it takes to loosen the bolt. Re-tighten the bolt with the proper spec-ed wrench to the same spec that you did before. Finally, use your wrench to loosen the bolt. If it brakes at the same number, then your good to go.
