Are there any custom built sportbikes?

With the exception of cafes, stretched swing arms, rims and paint. Im looking for custom plastics, new frame designs, custom motors, bars, and fenders etc. Ive searched Google for new creative designs but cant find much besides modded showbikes. Meaning stretched R1s with chrome rims and flakey paint. Does anyone know of anything I might be looking for?

1. hotbodies makes a lot of custom "body kits" for race bikes http://www.hotbodiesracing.com/en/prod_209_race_bodywork_yamaha_2006-07_yzf-r6 kind of like that one, some are nice some arent but i hope thats what you were looking for
2. there use to be plenty of custom frame builders around in the 70s.. some of the first mono shock bikes were customs.. but the introduction of alloy frames that were exceptional to start with killed the industry.. there are a few people around that still build bikes from the ground up.. including engines & frames.. but tend to be the exception ... Buell started as a custom built bike for the \Harley engine.. look at the JRL Radial Flyer on google..
3. A company called Spondon used to build custom frames for sports bikes but I haven't seen them about for a bit....don't know if they are still in business? http://www.spondonownersclub.co.uk/
