Does anyone known the best product to use on motorcycle aluminum wheels too get a chrome like finish?

- Use just about any aluminum wheel polish and apply it with a 3M Super-fine Wet/Dry sanding pad. Not really worth it in the long run though as they tarnish easier and it's a big pain in the rear to do in the first place.
- 2000 grit wet & dry paper... sand all over until smooth.. them a lambswool buffing pad in an electric drill ( if you have a buffing wheel even better) & any good polish will shine them up great.. you may want to spray a clear coat of acrylic over them once there done... or you will be forever polishing them to keep the shine on them..
- Been using Autosol for years. works great.First time use 0000 steel wool , then buff with soft cloth. Try a sample spot first to see how you like it. Next time you won't need the steel wool just a cloth to apply. Doug
- Buffing wheel, polishing rouge and a clock. Remove the wheels and put them against the buffer. Plan on spending some time doing it. They'll come out like mirrors. Sandpaper? Yikes no!
- Auto-sol metal polish is the best there is.I've been using it for 40 years and haven't found anything short of a professional buffing wheel that works better.
- Been polishing bikes for quite some time and I have run the gambit on things to use.The very best I have ever used is Mother's billet cleaner. My frame and wheels have all been polished on my bike and they look like chrome. They don't tarnish, they just bling. If you need any tips shoot me a mail and I'll show you what they are supposed to look like.
- Nev-R-Dull comes in a can,its sort of like cottonballs with polish in it. Tedious but works.
