Torque and Chrome

can i spray paint alluminum rims chrome?

i have a 1998 ford mustang v6 on stock rims. i was woundering if its possiable to spray paint the rims chrome? i like the rims i have, but i want em chrome. help? can i spray paint them blue or black?

1. No, the paint is actually a high gloss silver, not chrome. It will look silvery, but not high or shiny as chrome. Chrome is put on electrically, in a special process. There are places that will chrome plate stuff but I think it would be kind of expensive. If you really want chrome wheels, you will need to buy them.
2. if you want to sure, for the wheels plating is about 150 per rim.
3. Hi chrome is not a paint it's a totally different process and is a lot of hard work to process the metal and it takes some days to get done and will cost a lot to do. so the paint is the best option.
