Torque and Chrome

what can I do with salt ruined chrome rims?

Since paying to have them re-chromed is about the same price as paying for a new set of rims, what are some options I have to make them look nice again. paint them a different color? These rims were brand new and I left them on during the winter which was a big mistake and they barely have any miles on them so I'd like to do something with them besides throwing them out, ya know? they are 20" chrome rims. thanks.
