Torque and Chrome

I am looking for an inexpensive motorcycle tire. Performance parts.?

200 70 15 is the size I have been recommended. It is for a 2002 V Star 1100 and I am not sure if there are safety issues as the stock tire was only 170. I have spoken with users of the same bike with the 200 mounted and they claim no problems. Also, any chrome or performance parts for the same bike. Word of advice. I buy brand name, top quality, unused parts and items all the time. A wise man once said, retail is for suckers. I am not looking for low quality, I am looking for high VALUE. I appreciate the concern for safety however.

  1. Nothing in performance or custom parts are ever inexpensive. The tire upgrade won't effect your bike's performance.
  2. Do you really want to risk your life on cheap tires? Your ability to maintain control of a motorcycle depends on two very small tire-to-ground contact patches... Literally, where the rubber meets the road. I value my life and my skin too highly to buy cheap tires for my motorcycles.
  3. i buy my tires at americanmototire.com,cheap prices, moding modern bikes is not a good idea.new CARB/EPA laws make then conplicated, just like cars, hence expensive.
