Torque and Chrome

Will any GMC wheel fit my truck?

I have a 1998 GMC Sierra 4x4 1500, will 1999 and above GMC "truck" wheels fit this truck? Im looking to upgrade to a set of chrome rims from a 2002 Sierra...will they fit? Thanks

1. As long as it is a 1500 GMC or Chevy Silverado 1500 with 6 lugs. The 2500 GMC or Silverado will not work.
2. go to the GMC dealer and ask the parts counter dude .... the bolt patten must be the same for the wheels to fit ... 5 lugs == 6 lugs == 8 lug nuts __ most likely they are the same .... the other thing to do would be to take the time to go to the tire store and see what they can do to help you ... and it is a much easier thing to get a tire store to do the swaps == they put the car in the air and can change out in short time .... you on the other hand are doing one wheel at a time -- and the best action will be to have an alignment so your tires will run straight and last longer...
