  1. Chrome polish and elbow grease. Do not use anything abrasive
  2. OK here we go this is a tourmenting procedure... First of all walk (don't drive) to your nearest garage... fill your pockets with some fuel, head home. Once you reach home start splashing your car with the petrol in the specified areas also the engine (see the manual, (www.rustandbolts.com)) once your happy that your is literally swimming in fuel (bear in mind this might take a few trips to the pump and you may get arrested for simply stealing the fuel) borrow a lighter from your dearest friend (make sure its expensive and preferably of some sentimental value) set the car and chuck the lighter in for a laugh. All the rust, dirt, dog hairs, last memories of a dead relative and scratches should be gone within 3.56 seconds. Also make sure that you are sat in the car to get the best view and make sure that your parked near a school. I hope I have helped.
  3. There are many products that can remove rust from old chrome. If the rust is just surface rust, any non-abrasive auto chrome / polish / clean should work. I would first clean the bumper with a good cleaner, and then apply the chrome polish. For the more serious rust, you may have to apply the cleaner polish serveral times. The key is to avoid using abrasive chemicals or applicators. You may want to visit the Eastwood Products site, which has a great selection of automotive restoration products.
  4. go to the hardware store and get a bag of 000 steel wool and go at it, works great on chrome.
