BMW 316 compact - Purchase Advice UK Only.?

Hello, Been offered a BMW 316 compact, and wanted to know how much you guys think its worth? and if i should get one and why. I am 20 with 1y ncb, I can insure the car for 800 quid a year. Year 2000 / W 54K - HIP checked Full service history 12m MOT no tax - (its 195 quid) REAR SEATS STILL LIKE NEW FRONT SEATS NO RIPS AT ALL VERY CLEAN INTERIOR CD PLAYER ELECTRIC WINDOWS ELECTRIC MIRROWS CENTRAL LOCKING POWER STEERING REMOTE CENTRAL LOCKING Extras: 18" POLISHED CHROME RIMMED ALLOY WHEELS + good tires DE LOCKED FOR MAXIMUM SECURITY Many thanks Daniel I have money, i could buy this car 10 times over, the car is mine for 1700GBP. what do you think

1. In these economic times, I would find a less expensive vehicle and invest the difference, unless, of course you need a flash car. This is the kind of car your dad might want. At your age, I would not put more than 5000 into a vehicle.
