best performance wheels for the price?

i have an 08 miata and i want to put performance rims on it(not big ass chrome rims) i just need to know where i can get some kinda cheap that are pretty light weight, and what is the best size for racing?

1. performance wheels are just performance wheels, anything will hold a car up. weight wise...im not too sure but for a miata spending between 1-2 thousand seems is pretty good
2. I don't know the best size for racing, but National Tire and Battery (NTB) will measure your wheel well and let you know the best fit. They have a catalogue of rims and many different price points. I would think Enkei rims can fit the bill. Best.
