Torque and Chrome

guys i need help with my toyota 4 runner?

i have a 3.0 v6 1990 toyota 4runner and i having problems after replacing the alternator. As i was trying to unscrew the bolt that holds the wire to the alternator using a torque wrench, there was a spark because my wrench touched the chassis of the car ( i forgot to disconnect the wires from the battery, sorry cause im inexperience with cars) well after i replaced the alternator and put everything back together, as i tried to start the car , it wont start, all i hear is the clicks sound, the head lights are working but the light for panel display does not. Horn is working but the radio is not. I think that i have fried or burned out the fuses but i checked. there are no burned fuses. Should i check again? Anyone knows how to fix the problem? have i completely destroyed the electrical system? would appreciate any helps thanks

  1. you may have fried a bunch of fuses check your fuse box
  2. Did you check both the interior and engine bay fuse boxes? Check your large fuses like main etc..
  3. if it were my car, i would have it looked at. i am limited to changing fluids in my repair experience.
  4. you blew a fuse, inspect all of them, under hood and under dash
  5. sounds like a blown fuse
