Where can I get rid of chrome rims for money?

They're bent and I don't need them anymore. I don't want them to go to waste; I'd like to get a little $$ out of them. The bent can be fixed. I'm in SC. Any ideas...?

1. take them to a scrap yard
2. well maybe you can get the bent out of them your self and then sell them on ebay or something... or the scrap yard.

5. Unfortunately, the rims aren't going to be worth much of anything to a buyer. I assume that the rims are chrome plated steel. Not that valuable in the first place once they are used. Being bent, it would be better for someone to buy a new set or a set that isn't bent, then to buy a set and have them repaired. My suggestion to you, if you really feel you must sell these rims to another person who may repair them, put them on ebay, and take what you can for them. However, your best bet would be to sell them to a salvage yard for their weight in steel. Around here steel goes for about $100 per ton so still, you aren't looking to make much off of them. If you really don't know how to price them to sell them, again I say, put them on ebay.
