Google Chrome custom search engines at the context menu?

Actually I have two questions: 1. Firefox in its last version v3.6 doesn't support "Add to Search" plugin anymore, and I need it badly in every surfing session to add any search box to my custom search menu. Is there any other plugin which can do this job and supported by v3.6? 2. If there are no other options regarding to Firefox, I want to use Chrome in the same way; to add any search box to a menu that can be accessed through the context menu (right click). Are there any Chrome extensions which can help me in that? Thanks

  1. chrome is a good idea. but firefox is better. and its support more applications then chrome or any other browser. lie try "aniweather" which give you your local weather, just beyond your imagination. and firefox already has search box on right most corner, which is helpful to you.
  2. I'm looking for that too. The closest I could find was an extension that allows you to manually add search engines if you know the code (i.e. Google is 'http://www.google.com/search?q=%s', etc) I found that here: https://chrome.google.com/extensions/detail/mknehpjhljpfaghmicofickbkdagooni If you want to do a similar thing, but with no extension, check out this site: http://www.downloadgooglechrome.org/create-custom-search-engines-in-google-chrome.html It's pretty easy. , but as far as using the context menu to add the search box, I have yet to find.
