Best way to care for your chrome rims and keep them like new?

Hi i have some chrome rims on my mustang GT/CS and i want to keep them like new, a friend told me to wax them but i found a bunch of other rim care products. What is the best thing to apply to the rims to keep them like new for as long as possible and what products would you recommend? I was thinking about getting Carnauba Cleaner wax... also is Reflections® Advanced Tire Care good?

1. I recommend a product called Blue Magic, found at AutoZone, Pepboys, Kragen, etc. It's a product that I've used to clean and protect rims with my auto detailing business. Blue Magic protects your rims from hard water, resulting in a water repellent protective seal of silicone, Blue Magic's main ingredient, to prevent rust. However, if your rims have heavy mineral deposits and surface rust, your best choice is Turtle Wax Rim Polish (white bottle with a red cap) also found at AutoZone, Kragen, etc. I recommend using steel wool prior to applying the Turtle Wax if the rim has a lot of rust.
