Torque and Chrome

How do you clean 22inch rims?

I just got a new truck and they have some nice 22 inch aftermarket chrome rims on them. The problem is I have never had big ballin rims like these before. If anyone has an experience it will be much appreciated. To the person below, these rims are all chrome big and wide hard to describe with out a picture. I have used chrome cleaner yet can't get a good clean because either Im inexperienced or there is a technique to it.

  1. why would the size matter? you dont clean 22s and different than 15's! with chrome cleaner
  2. get some chrome polish and maybe a buffer. The directions on the bottle should help
  3. windex and a microfiber cloth works well for any chrome that needs cleaning. afterwards, use a polisher like the mothers' speedball and their polishing compound to polish them!
  4. Chrome polish. In this case, size doesn't matter.
  5. get the roughest wirey brush u can find and scrub the hell out of it with a mixture of car soap and sand itl get rid of all the dirt and that gay chrome finish
  6. mothers wheel cleaner and chrome polish-personally i dont care for big rims-too many people willin to kill ya for em....aint worth dien over-rember -chrome dont get ya home0but it could get ya deep in a hole-6feet-
