Can I Paint Over Chrome Wheels?

I have a 05 Magnum and i just got a set of 24" wheels put on and i want to get the face of the rims matte black and the lips white. can i paint over the chrome?? if not no biggie

1. Maybe? If the kind of paint will stay on the Chrome Wheels. Chrome Wheels are nice looking? What's wrong with them?
2. I don't think any kind of paint will stick to slick chrome. You would have to rough them up with sandpaper to get it to stick and even then it would eventually peel off. My opinion... leave them as is. I'm old school and think all these black wheels on vehicles is ugly as hell. Chrome wheels makes a car POP. You know, bling. Black wheels do nothing for a vehicle but make it look drab and dull.
