lose of torque when using a adapter to on a torque wrench?
need to torque head bolts to 75 ft pd but torque wrench is 1/2 inch drive ,socket(10mm hex)is 3/8 socket ok to use adapter? correction allen head sorry and thanks

- Yes. The mantra is not to use any sort of extension on torque wrenches and an adapter is an extension, but the error introduced by an adapter is mighty small.
- An adapter won't make any difference, but you've got something wrong. There's no way the torque on a 10mm head bolt would be 75 ft lbs.
- That must be an allen head that's 10mm. Use the adaptor. I never had a problem with them.
