Torque and Chrome

20" chrome rims chipping?

i have a 2004 cadillac cts and 2 of the aftermarket 20" chrome rims are chipping. I cannot afford to have them rechromed, or to buy new ones, is there anything i can put on the rims to at least stop the chipping? Thanks the rims came with the car when i bought it

1. Hopefully you bought the rims from a reputable wheel dealer, most aftermarket wheels carry some sort of warranty, so check where you bought them. Unfortunaly the heat that daily driving and breaking generate will just continue to cause the chipping.
