Torque and Chrome

Question about a micro torque wrench?

I've never used one but I know its supposed to click when I reach the desired torque. My question is, since I've never used it, does it easily adjust to fit different size bolts? Oh ok so you just put sockets in it. Does it have to be for that particular model or could I put any sockets in it?

  1. Who makes it? What model #?
  2. It doesn't adjust. You put different sized sockets on it. If you're talking about the torque, then yes, that does adjust, usually with a micrometer-style dial on the handle, or by a ring on the handle. Just read the instructions, or find a similar model online and read the instructions for it.
  3. There's various size sockets 1/4 3/8 1/2 drives, so you'll need the size socket that fits it. Measure the "square" head and that will give you the socket "drive" size.
