Rust on chrome of motorcycle?

I have a 81' honda rebel. On the tail pipe and other various parts there is rust on the chrome. What is a good way to remove the rust and give it a good shine. Ive gotten the rest of the bike with a cleaner but the rust wont come out.

3. Try using a coke. It worked for me. It won't take all of the rust off. But it helps. Lett it soak then take a peice of steel wool very fine steel wool and wipe it off then rinse with water.
4. I used 000 and 0000 steel wool and some long time patience for an 84 Magna. It won't take care of all of the rust, but it does get most of it. Every time it rains you have to go get some more scrubbing done but now it looks pretty good, and it has been easier to maintain since I started knocking the rust down
5. If the rust is just surface rust, or even mild pitting, it should clean up with Turtle Wax chrome cleaner and a Scotchbrite pad.
6. The old-fashioned way, with Simichrome and elbow grease. Another way is DuPont Chrome Cleaner. Skip the steel wool, it dulls the finish.
7. Semichrome is the best. That and a little elbow grease
