custom rims on a honda?
ok, I have a red 2002 Honda Civic EX 2DR Coupe. I dont plan on completely customizing my car, but I thought a few things would be nice, like rims and a new interior. But I do NOT want to be one of those people that have ridiculous looking rims on a car or if they dont match. Do you think rims would look decent on my car? I was thinking black rims with the chrome strip on the outside? And whats a good price for 4 wheels and the 4 rims 17inch? My honda is RED

- black rims would look hot on red convertibles, you might also add side stickers to make it look like a racer
- If you don't have a local shop to browse, you can look up TireRack.com to browse rims on your car. They have a program that can do this. I recommend if you get new rims (I think 17's or 18's will look right), you should also lower the suspension to complete the new look. This will make the car look much better and give you better handling as well. Happy driving!
- Rims color depends on your car color, black and silver are universal color but in buying rims and tire you should match it with you car....
- Black with the chrome lip looks great on black, white, and silver cars, but not so good on other colors. What color is your Civic? Have you seen this site? It has a great Selection, great prices, and they are guaranteed to fit. Also, 17's would be you best bet... looks good and performs well. http://www.tirerack.com/indexA.jsp

- Depending on the after market wheels, any car would look nice. I think 17 inch would be a good size for a Civic, not too big. When I put aftermarket wheels on my Accord, I had a huge gap between the tires and fenders and they are 18" wheels. I closed the gap by getting coil-overs so I can adjust the height of the car to where I wanted it. If you're set on black wheels, I think red lines would be a lot better than chrome.
