  1. No, it's just brake dust.
  2. No! It means you need to wash the front rims.
  3. That's normal.. You'll notice that on all cars.. The break dust, every time you apply the breaks, goes all over the wheels... Its really annoying! but its normal! If you needed new brake pads, they would be squeaking. or the brake pedal NOT as responsive as normal!
  4. in order to know for sure check the brake fluid level if the fluid is lower on the front by quite a bit then pull a wheel and check the pads, if they are 1/16 of an inch thick then change them and have the rotors turned. dust is normal most of the time but shows that your rear brakes are not adjusted properly or the adjusters are not working or something else that needs to be looked at by a mechanic, you could have a defective master cylinder or sticking calipers.
  5. It's dirty, clean them off and they will match again. When needed, put semi-metallic pads on during a brake job to decrease dusting.
  6. its brake dust. change to ceramic pads and it won't be as bad.
  7. You need to clean the brake dust off of then is all. This link has good tips to clean them.
