Custom Head/Tail Lights?

I have a 2000 VW Passat. Nothing is broken the lights are fine, the bulbs work, it's in perfect condition. I just want to buy custom chrome Head and Tail Lights to replace the default ones that came on the Passat. Is there an actual store that you can go into and buy these or do you have to buy them online? If you have to buy them online, how can you trust the seller and the condition the product is in? Also how would I install the lights?

1. 1. go to websites, 2. you look at websites that are trustable.. 3. taillights are easy just unscrew and screw back in headlights might be a little harder, might have to take on the whole front bumper, etc etc
