If I want 18" rims for my Camaro, do I have to buy the new tires?
I am looking for some chromes for my 1996 camaro. I have the stock wheels and tires which are 16". Do i have to buy new tires for the new rims to fit?

- Yes. Unless you want to rip your tire, Im pretty sure you do. Good luck :)
- Yes. New rims = new tires. Depending on where you live you will need to switch them out in the winter too.
- yes, the diameter of your stock rims is 16" across, the new ones are 18" . They just plain will not fit. If you get a set of 16" rims, they will most likely fit into the tires you have. If you get any rims besides 16", you will need new tires.
- A little common sense would tell you a 16" hole won't fit over an 18" object.
