why cops target trucks/cars with chrome 24' wheels more often?

im from texas and majority of the cars/trucks that are pulled over in down town are the ones with 22' wheels or 26's...can cops do that or are they just stereo typing only those cars more than imports?

1. here in massachusettes if you drive a red car you have to pay more for insurance same with sport cars. its crazy! i have a red sports car and i pay 2300 a year for insurace! the reason they get pulled over more is because they stand out when your driving past a cop.
