Torque and Chrome

if the U.S. economy is so bad, how come I'm seeing more & more CUSTOM RIMS on cars?

unless... by some VERY unlikely chance the prices of steel, chrome & rubber have majorly dropped within the past few months. but i highly doubt that.

1. maybe people buy cheap and ugly cars and put custom rims on them to try to make the car look better

3. Probably because anyone can get a credit card with a substantial limit. It bites you in the bootie in the long run, though. :o)
4. HAHA this is great. good question or how about the one where they have really nice stereo systems but its a pos old car that looks like its about to fall apart? all the while they are sitting on 20'' rims.. they tens actually but they keep em' clean though. haha
5. well, most of the time when you see custom rims dope boys have them (drug dealers) not all people aree drug dealers thats not what i am saying. but they make drug money and its ALOT of it. Its tax free so they dont feel the pinch of the economy besides gas or whatever..
