How much to paint my 18" rims?

A couple months ago my parents bought a set of 18" chrome rims from my uncle as a birthday gift for me. They look chrome but now I'm extremely upset that my uncle would sell me phony rims. The chrome paint is peeling off and fast. People told me that I should just take them some where to get them painted black. How much do you think it would cost for them to do the whole job? I want to paint coat to be durable with no peeling in the long run.

2. The chrome paint? Are you shure that is acualy the chrome it self ? Sound like your best bet is to wire brush all the chrome off. Then eather powder coat them for a couple of hudred bucks or send them to a good qualty paint shop for $ 100.to 200.00 bucks. If you are realy good with a spray can you can paint them your self for about $20.00 bucks.
