Torque and Chrome

How do I paint my chrome rims?

I heard that I can sand down the chrome so the paint will bond with it. I have also heard that I need to have the rims dipped in acid. If this is the case, where can I have this done in Orange County, Fullerton area? How long will this process take and how expensive is it? That is only a worse case scenerio. I would like to find another way around that & buying new rims.

  1. youll have to have the chrome removed. find a plateing shop in your area, they can do it. maybe cheaper to buy new ones or find old ones in a wrecking yard.
